Jain vegetarian diet is based on the “Jain” preferences. Jain is mainly lacto-vegetarian. Who are maintaining Jainism strictly they do not take any kind of root vegetables, such as potatoes, onions, roots, and tubers. Because they do not want to injure small insects and microorganisms and also they do not want uproot & kill the entire Plant . Jain food must be conductive for health & Spiritual upliftment. Honey is also eliminated from this diet.
